The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno has gone on sale in India today, and we have all the updates from the launch event, here. The new Baleno has gone through a major makeover, and it now comes with heavy cosmetic changes, a host of smart features and tech, and it now comes with Maruti’s AGS or Auto Gear Shift transmission technology. The new Maruti Suzuki Baleno has been launched starting at ₹ 6.35 lakh, going up to ₹ 9.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Maruti Suzuki has revealed that the car will get a bunch of new tech and features like a Heads-Up Display (HUD), 360-degree view camera, and a 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ system with a new sound system with ARKAMYS tuning. In addition to these, the carmaker is also introducing the next-gen Suzuki Connect app, which will come with 40+ connected car features including Alexa assistance.

Under the hood, the Maruti Suzuki Baleno right now comes with the 1.2-litre Dualjet Dual VVT motor as standard, mated to a 5-speed manual and a new 5-speed AGS unit, which replaced the automatic CVT unit.
