Chaos reigned supreme in a local league match in India as three batters were spotted on the field at the same time, following comedy of errors from the fielding team. After hitting a delivery towards mid-wicket, a batter made hard yards to complete a double as the wicketkeeper missed the opportunity to run him out. However, the batter at the non-striker end had other ideas as he ran for a third run with his partner down on the ground after scampering home to avoid a run out.
The fielding team had a golden opportunity to get the non-striker run out. However, they missed the chance after another error from the keeper who uprooted the stumps instead of throwing the ball at the non-striker’s end.
Amid all the chaos, a third batter made his way onto the pitch, assuming that one of his teammate got run out during the comedy of errors.
As the two batters tried to complete a couple of extra runs, he was seen standing behind the striker’s end. He was even instructing his teammates to complete the run.
In the end, the bowling team managed to pull off a run out as the two batters who were already on the field stopped at the non-striker’s due to exhaustion.
