Land Rover India has begun accepting pre-bookings for the Range Rover SV in the country, which arrives with special design themes, details and material choices. The SV variant is commissioned by the automaker’s Special Vehicle Operations division brings a new level of exclusivity to the offerings. The new Range Rover line-up is priced from ₹ 2.32 crore (ex-showroom) onwards and the SV variant is the new flagship in the portfolio. It will be available in both Standard and Long Wheelbase (LWB) versions including a five-seater LWB configuration for the first time. LWB customers will also have the option of specifying the four-seater SV Signature Suite with an electrically deployable Club Table and integrated refrigerator.

Speaking about the new offering, Rohit Suri, President and MD – Jaguar Land Rover India, said, “The New Range Rover SV adds more luxury and personalisation options thus enabling our clients to create a truly individual Range Rover that embodies their own character and personality.”

The new Range Rover SV distinguishes itself with a different bumper, new five-bar grille design, along with a host of exquisite materials used including smooth ceramics, sustainably sourced woods and lustrous plated metals. In addition to this, the SVO-built Range Rover SV models are available with the 13.1-inch Rear Seat Entertainment screens, which are the largest ever fitted to a Range Rover. The fifth-gen Range Rover SV is also the first Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations offering to use the new ceramic SV roundel and the simplified SV name.

The new Range Rover SV draws power from the new 4.4-litre twin-turbo petrol engine that develops 523 bhp and 750 Nm of peak torque, while there’s also the 3.0-litre straight-six diesel with 346 bhp and 700 Nm of peak torque on offer.
