Delhi Gym and Fitness Center Reopen: In an important meeting of the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) on Friday, permission has been given to reopen gyms and fitness centers in Delhi after one and a half months. Now all gyms and fitness centers in Delhi can be opened following the Corona protocol from 7th February i.e. Monday.

Agreed on opening of gyms and fitness centers

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also attended the meeting chaired by Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal. This meeting took place through video conferencing at 12:00 noon on Friday. In the meeting, a decision was taken regarding all the restrictions imposed in Delhi. In which it was also agreed to reopen gyms and fitness centers. After which all gyms and fitness centers can be opened in Delhi from Monday i.e. 7 February.

Relief in operators after the guidelines of DDMA

The gym operators of Delhi have heaved a sigh of relief after the DDMA guidelines came out as gym owners were facing a lot of trouble due to the closure of the gym for the last one and a half months. He said that the rent of the gym, electricity, water etc., which he had to pay even after the gym was closed. Apart from this, it was also becoming difficult to pay the salary of the employees working in the gym.

The Delhi Gym Association has welcomed the decision of the government. Association’s Vice President Chirag Sethi told ABP News that fitness will be back on track once again in Delhi. He told that due to the closure of the gym, not only the gym operators were upset but the fitness lovers were also very sad. Those people who come to the gym daily were not able to come. Along with this, he said that at the end of December last year, the government had decided to close the gym. After which the gym can be reopened after about one and a half months from February 7.

He said that the Delhi Gym Association has appealed to the government to remove Delhi’s gyms and fitness centers from the Yellow Zone. Gym is a place where people come and exercise for their physical health. During the Corona period, all protocols are being followed in gyms and fitness centers. Gyms are being run only following all the rules. In such a situation, the gym should not be closed. Because physical health is most important to fight this disease. Be it the Delhi government or the central government, everyone emphasizes on physical health, yoga and exercise. Despite this, gyms and fitness centers are repeatedly closed.
