The new Grand i10 Nios Corporate Edition gets added features for the extra cost

Hyundai has launched a new Corporate Edition of the Grand i10 Nios with prices starting at Rs 6.29 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Based on the Magna variant of the Nios, the Corporate Edition is priced at a premium of Rs 20,000 over the former and is available solely with the 1.2-litre petrol engine. The Rs 20,000 addition in prices brings with it some cosmetic enhancements along with some additional features. The complete prices for the new Grand i10 Corporate Edition are as follows:

Variant Price
Corporate Edition MT Rs 6.28 lakh
Corporate Edition AMT Rs 6.98 lakh

Compared to the Grand i10 Sportz, the Corporate Edition is about ₹ 40,000 to ₹ 45,000 more affordable.

Starting with the exterior, the Nios Corporate Edition sits on new 15-inch gunmetal styled wheels (not alloys) compared to the 14-inch steel wheels with covers on the regular Magna. Interestingly the wheel size is also larger than the more expensive Grand i10 Nios Sportz which sits on 14-inch alloys as standard with only the dual-tones getting 15-inchers. Additionally, compared to the Magna, the Corporate Edition also gets the addition of roof rail, some additional chrome trimming to the rear and black finished wing mirrors. The grille also gets a gloss black finish on all colour options while the regular Magna could be had with either a black or silver finish based on the exterior colour.

The Corporate Edition gets a black and red colour scheme similar to the Grand i10 Nios Turbo(pictured).

Coming to the equipment, the Corporate Edition gets the addition of power-folding exterior mirrors with turn indicators on both manual and AMT variants – it is only available on the Magna AMT. The CE also gets a new 6.75-inch touchscreen with smartphone-based navigation in place of the Magna’s 2-DIN system.

Moving to cosmetics, the Nios Corporate Edition gets the addition of roof rails, some chrome garnish on the boot, black finished wing mirrors and a gloss black finish to the grille. The standard Magna’s grille was finished in black or silver depending on the exterior colour. Inside the cabin, the Corporate Edition gets black fabric upholstery with red inserts on the seats, AC vents and gear lever – a similar interior colour scheme to the more expensive Sportz Dual Tone and Turbo models.

As mentioned above, the Corporate Edition is solely available with the familiar 82 bhp 1.2-litre petrol engine paired with either a manual or AMT gearbox.
