Stellantis-owned Jeep recently revealed the Meridian SUV for Indian market. Essentially a stretched version of the Compass, the Meridian offers more space on the interior, enough to accommodate a 3rd row of seats. This ups the SUV’s practicality quotient, and while the SUV will be priced a premium over the Compass, it will have a niche of buyers who are looking for just what the SUV offers.
As the Meridian begins to attract more and more attention, Jeep has announced that bookings for the 3-row SUV will begin in the first week of May 2022. The American automaker is also gearing up for a June launch for the SUV, and has plans begin deliveries for the SUV in the third week of June.

The SUV will come equipped with the same 2.0-litre diesel engine as the Compass, putting out 168 bhp and 350 Nm torque. There are also multiple active and passive safety features in the SUV, and is loaded with tech.
