The Kia EV6 electric crossover is expected to be priced between Rs. 55-60 lakh (ex-showroom India)
Kia India is all set to launch the Kia EV6 electric crossover today, and we’ll be bringing you all the live updates here. The EV6 is the first electric vehicle to be launched by Kia in India, and it is also currently its flagship model in the country. Now, we have already driven the EV6, in fact, we brought you an exclusive review of the car when we drove it in the US earlier this year, followed by the India review recently. The Kia EV6 comes to India as a completely built unit (CBU) model and initially, the carmaker will only bring 100 units of the electric crossover. Bookings for the vehicle commenced on May 26, and it will be sold only at select Kia dealers in the top metro cities. With regards to pricing, we expect the new Kia EV6 to be priced between ₹ 55 lakh to ₹ 60 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

The Kia will offer both the rear-wheel drive and the all-wheel-drive versions of the EV6 and both will come with a 77.4 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The rear-wheel-drive version uses a single motor that generates 226 bhp, while the All-Wheel Drive version develops 321 bhp. On a single full charge, the EV6 can travel up to 528 km (WLTP cycle) in the RWD, and 425 km in the AWD version. The EV6 gets multiple driving modes – Normal, Sport and Eco. It also gets smart regenerative braking.
