Lancia To Launch Three New Cars From 2024, To Go All-Electric By 2026

Stellantis subsidiary Lancia announced its 10-year plan that involves introducing three new cars for Europe starting in 2024, as well as electrifying its entire portfolio by 2026. Additionally, the company plans to sell only electric cars by 2028. According to the Stellantis’ “Dare Forward 2030” strategic plan, the three new electric models will aim to cover 50 per cent of the market and will contribute towards improving its sales margin in the premium electric segment. However, the platforms on which the new models will be based were not disclosed.

Lancia’s ten-year plan will begin in 2024 with the new Lancia Ypsilon Electric, which will be around 4-metres long, belonging to the B segment, and will be launched with a 100 per cent electrified powertrain. In 2026, the new flagship will arrive, 4.6-metre long, and will allow the brand to enter the largest segment in Europe. In 2028, the Italian carmaker will introduce the new 4.4-metre long “Lancia Delta”, said the release.

Apart from electrifying its entire range, Lancia will also use sustainable, recycled materials with 50 per cent of touchable surfaces made from eco-sustainable materials to contribute to building a better world for future generations. The new Lancia models will not only be fitted with materials of its past iconic vehicles, like the Gamma, Thema, and Flavia but will also be decked up with the latest features to make it one of the most technologically advanced cars in the segment.
