Maruti plans to incorporate the start-up’s AI platform to enhance its digital sales experience.
Maruti Suzuki India Ltd has announced an investment of about ₹ 2 crore into Artificial Intelligence (AI) start-up firm Sociograph Solutions Private Limited. The company says that the investment is part of the company’s initiative to support start-ups with promising mobility solutions. The company has also affirmed that as part of the investment it will get access to the start-ups’ Dave.AI Visual Artificial Intelligence platform which will be incorporated into the company’s digital sales platform to further enhance customer experience.

“Our investment in SSPL demonstrates our resolve towards improving business metrics using contemporary technology. The Maruti Suzuki Innovation Fund is set up with an aim to invest in early-stage start-ups which are part of Maruti Suzuki programs. Our intent is to encourage innovation and promote the entrepreneurial spirit of the start-ups. We strongly believe in the philosophy of ‘Innovate – Collaborate and Co-Create’ to develop solutions for the industry and society,” said Maruti Suzuki MD and CEO, Hisashi Takeuchi.

The new AI platform is said to be able to analyse the customer journey and customise the product discovery experience in real-time. The system is also claimed to offer industry-first 3D visualisations which is said to help improve the customer experience.
