Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo India Launch: Price Expectation

Skoda Auto India has informed us that the Kushaq Monte Carlo will be around Rs. 70,000 to Rs. 80,000 more expensive than the Style variant of the SUV. So, we expect the Kushaq Monte Carlo to be priced between Rs. 15.99 lakh to Rs. 19.59 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

Skoda Auto India is all set to launch the new Kushaq Monte Carlo in the country. The special variant of the compact SUV will be launched today, on May 9, and it will be positioned above the current top-spec Style variant of the Kushaq. Along with updated styling, the new Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo also comes with a host of additional features that uplift its premium and sporty quotients. Now Skoda Auto India has informed us that the Kushaq Monte Carlo will be around ₹ 70,000 to ₹ 80,000 more expensive than the Style variant of the SUV. Right now, prices for the regular Style variant begin at ₹ 15.29 lakh, going up to ₹ 18.79 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Like the Style trim, the Kushaq Monte Carlo will also come with both 1.0-litre TSI and 1.5-litre TSI engines, with both manual and automatic transmission choices. So, we expect the Kushaq Monte Carlo to be priced between ₹ 15.99 lakh to ₹ 19.59 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

Visually, the Kushaq Monte Carlo trim comes with updated styling which includes – Glossy black treatment for the grille surrounds, front and rear skid plates, trunk garnish and ORVMs. The SUV also gets a carbon steel painted roof with matte black roof rails and dark chrome door handles, along with a set of bigger 17-inch Vega dual-tone alloy wheels. The SUV also features the Monte Carlo badge on the front fender instead of the Skoda lettering, and glossy black treatment for Skoda and Kushaq badging at the rear.

The cabin of the Kushaq Monte Carlo comes with new red accents, new upholstery, and more features

The cabin of the Kushaq Monte Carlo comes with new red accents on the dashboard, centre console, interior door handles, and door panels. The seats too are now draped in new dual-tone red and black Leatherette upholstery with ‘Monte Carlo’ lettering on headrests, and red stitching for the door armrest and front centre armrest. The SUV also gets Monte Carlo scuff plates and red ambient lighting on the front passenger side.

Skoda has also equipped the Kushaq Monte Carlo with an 8-inch fully digital virtual cockpit, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a new red theme, and aluminium foot pedals. The SUV also continued to offer features like a wireless charger, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ventilated front seats, auto climate control, and a sunroof among others.
