Varun Tomar beat compatriot Sarabjot Singh 10.3 to 10.1 in the shoot-off for the bronze medal in men’s air pistol in the shooting World Cup in Cairo, Egypt, on Sunday.
Qualification topper Juraj Tuzinsky of Slovakia beat Paolo Monna of Italy 17-15 for the gold.
In women’s air pistol, Manu Bhaker placed fifth and Divya Subbaraju seventh.
Esha Singh, competing in the RPO section, shot the second best score of 577 in qualification behind Anna Korakaki (585).
Veronika Major of Hungary, who qualified in the eighth place with 572, went on to win the gold, beating Zorana Arunovic of Serbia 16-6.
