Corrit Electric, a New-Delhi based electric mobility brand, announced a partnership with ReadyAssist for on-road assistance for their clients in India. With more than 5,000 service partners in about 19,000 pin codes, ReadyAssist will supplement Corrit Electric’s commitment to transforming how people move. Under this agreement, ReadyAssist will provide 24×7 breakdown support, flat tyre repairs, fixes for starting problems, and towing service to customers through annual subscriptions and on-demand. In addition, the Ready-Assist team will be available across districts on call.

Mayur Misra, CEO, Corrit Electric, said, “We are planning to grow and expand quickly, with plans to launch a last-mile delivery vehicle by June ’22 and a high-speed bike by the end of this year pan India. Every vehicle sold by Corrit Electric to its customers will be supplemented with one-year free doorstep periodic maintenance, breakdown assistance, and support for any other warranty repairs. At present, the company is readying its slow-speed Hover e-scooter from the newly constructed production facility in Greater Noida, which claims to manufacture one Hover electric scooter every 45 minutes. The company also says that this new facility is equipped to produce over 1,500 units per month. Additionally, it plans to further expand its production capacity by August this year.

The Corrit Hover electric scooter is priced at ₹ 84,999 (ex-showroom), and the company has commenced with the deliveries in a phased manner. The two-seater bike has been designed for consumers in the age group of 12-18 years and has a load-carrying capacity of 250 kg, dual disc brakes, tubeless tyres, and dual shock absorbers for a smooth and safe ride. The Hover Scooter will have a range of 110 km with a top speed of 25 kmph, so will not require a driver’s license or registration.
