Ducati has announced the launch of the new Ducati Scrambler Urban Motard in India, priced at ₹ 11.49 lakh (Ex-showroom). With this launch, Ducati has expanded its Scrambler 800 line-up with five models, including the Scrambler Icon, Scrambler Icon Dark, Scrambler Nightshift, Scrambler Desert Sled, and now, the Scrambler Urban Motard. The entry-level model in the Ducati Scrambler range is the Scrambler Icon Dark, priced at ₹ 8.38 lakh (Ex-showroom), and now, the Urban Motard is the top-spec model in the Scrambler 800 family, and the most expensive.

The Ducati Scrambler Urban Motard features a unique livery, said to be inspired by the world of street art and metropolitan graffiti.

The bike features a new and original livery for the Urban Motard, combining the Star White Silk and Ducati GP ’19 Red colour. According to Ducati, the graphic design has been inspired by the world of street art and metropolitan graffiti.

Mechanically, the Scrambler Urban Motard remains identical to the Scrambler Icon, sharing the same engine and chassis.
The Ducati Scrambler Urban Motard has a dry weight of 180 kg, and it’s powered by the same 803 cc, L-twin engine shared by the rest of the Scrambler 800 models. The air cooled, two-valve engine makes 73 bhp at 8,250 rpm and 66.2 Nm of peak torque at 5,750 rpm.

The chassis includes a trellis frame in black tubular steel, Kayaba suspension both at the front and at the rear and 17-inch spoked wheels on which Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tires are mounted in sizes of 120/70 at the front and 180/55 at the rear. Bosch Cornering ABS features as standard equipment on the bike. The Scrambler Urban Motard is also designed for the Ducati Multimedia System (DMS), which enables a smartphone to be connected to the bike via Bluetooth, while the USB socket positioned under the seat is standard.
