Ferrari has a very special program that cannot be accessed just by having a lot of money, you must be an important client with a history of peculiar models to be able to have the privilege of giving the brand and its “Special Projects” department a blank cheque and an idea of what you want so that they manufacture a custom model specifically catering to your taste. This is exactly what happened with the Ferrari SP48 Unica. This special program makes the brand work directly with the future owner of the car so that hours are spent within the brand’s own design centre, considering every suggestion, idea, or taste, and then turning it into a sketch until the exact measurement is found.
There is also a new hood, rear air intake at a new position, a fixed spoiler, and fenders, all to improve the aerodynamics and give it a unique look.

There is also a new hood, rear air intake at a new position, a fixed spoiler, and fenders, all to improve the aerodynamics and give it a unique look. In fact, this special-order program includes ensuring that said design will never be replicated in another Ferrari to protect the authenticity of each unit produced under this scheme.

It should be noted that Ferrari used 3D printing to be able to manufacture parts such as the grille and various other elements that allow it to have these peculiar and continuous shapes without requiring the manufacture of several separate panels. The car’s interior was not revealed, though Ferrari said it looks the same as the F8 Tributo, save for special black Alcantara upholstery.
The entire process lasts more than a year on average, during which time the client is closely involved in assessing the design and verification phases.

Under the hood, the Ferrari SP48 Unica retains the same V8 bi-turbo engine with 720 bhp and 755 Nm of torque that moves the F8 tribute. It can do 0-100 kmph in 2.9 seconds and go up to 340 kmph. In theory, this order was only made to modify the appearance and not the performance with an increase in power or specific tuning.
It should be noted that Ferrari used 3D printing to be able to manufacture parts such as the grille and various other elements.
