According to the company, Log9’s InstaCharge batteries are built with advance materials which are costlier as compared to the lower performance-based, cheaper EV batteries in terms of the upfront cost. However, since Log9 batteries have 9x better life than a conventional EV battery, the total cost of ownership (TCO) over a longer use case offsets the higher battery cost and makes it a viable battery to invest even in terms of retrofit applications, the company added.
