Mahindra & Mahindra has finally launched the new-generation Scorpio-N SUV, and we have all the highlights for you here. The 2022 Mahindra Scorpio-N is built on the company’s new-gen ladder-on-frame platform, which also underpins the latest-gen Thar 4×4 SUV. It will be the second SUV to wear the company’s new brand logo and identity after the XUV700 which was launched last year. In addition to design and styling updates, the Scorpio-N also comes with new petrol and diesel engines along with a host of new creature comforts and tech. Prices for the SUV begin at ₹ 11.99 lakh and the top-end manual diesel trim is priced at ₹ 19.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Prices for the automatic and 4×4 trims will be announced on July 21, 2022.

The new Mahindra Scorpio-N gets features like – LED projector headlamps, LED daytime running lights, sporty alloy wheels, muscular wheel arches and LED taillights among others. Inside, the SUV gets a new look with comfortable contoured seats, wrapped in dual-tone brown and black faux leather upholstery and match interior trim. The cabin also features a new advanced infotainment system with AdrenoX connected car tech and a lot more.

Engine details still remain unconfirmed for now though the SUV is expected to be offered with a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engine. The units are likely to be in a lower state of tune than in the XUV700 with both expected to get manual and automatic gearbox options. The Scorpio-N will get four-wheel drive option, dubbed as “4Xplore”.
