Moong Dal Mughlai Recipe: Here’s How To Make Moong Dal Mughlai Recipe

First, mix together moong dal, chopped onion, ginger, green chillies, turmeric powder, salt and chopped garlic. Add five cups of water and boil it. Simmer for fifteen minutes till the dal becomes soft, removing scum from time to time. Blend the dal mixture and strain. Keep aside. Heat butter in a pan, add cumin seeds, dry red chillies and curry leaves. Saute till seeds splutter. Add pureed dal, and bring it to a boil. Adjust consistency by adding water, if desired. Add lemon juice and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot!
